Runners are often called crazy 🤪 for the early Runners are often called crazy 🤪 for the early hours they rise in the morning ☀️ to run and then the many hours the spend in a pair of running shoes 👟👟 doing crazy distances.  All of us here are Africa Marathons have earned this title for various reasons over the years.  But our good friend Jean-Marc Knoll (who ran the @sierraleonemara with us in 2017) has just raised the bar and all for a great cause.👇🏻 .
Jean-Marc Knoll (Facebook: @Jean-Marc Knoll OR Instagram: @theadventuresofjmk) will be LIVE on Facebook this Saturday *4 APRIL* as he runs 9.65m between his front window and washing machine in his kitchen, a casual 4,373 times... 😱😱😱 .
Join him LIVE for the INTERNATIONAL SPORTING EVENT THEY COULD NOT CANCEL! .
It's the: 1ST MADRID INTERNATIONAL INDOORS WINDOW 2 WASHING MACHINE MARATHON (1MIIW2WMM) 🏃‍♂️🏠🏅 .
He will be running a full marathon inside his home to ✔️ help raise money for THE INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS in their crisis response to COVID-19 ⭐AMAZING⭐
✔️ to have something to do for a whole 5 hours of this interminable lockdown... 🏨🚑

5⃣ - Work on improving speed🏃🏼‍♂💨. Now is a great time to get that ‘Hot Spot’ time 👌🏻 as quick as possible.

A ‘hot spot’ is a 1km pick up which is done in the middle of your run, preferably on a slight downhill, and as quickly as possible. .
For your time to improve at almost any targeted distance🎯, your ‘hot spot’ is a key element to work on. From there you can build into a 3km, 5km, 10km and so on. It’s also a great idea to run your own time trial every week. .
I personally like doing a 5km or 8km fitness test and if you do this weekly, it’ll give you a good indication 👍🏻 of where your fitness levels are and whether you’re making progress.
